• Charity of the Year

  Could you nominate PKD Charity to be your employers' Charity of the Year?  

  We will work closely with you to not only help meet your business and corporate social responsibility objectives but also help bring your staff together to support us and raise money to support people affected by PKD.

• Take part in an event or organise your own

  There are lots of fun ways for you and your colleagues to come together to raise money to support our work. If you’d like to take on a team challenge like a trek up Ben Nevis, a Tough Mudder or a running event. Get in touch! 

  If a physical challenge isn’t what you and your team are looking for then you could organise your own event, like an office cake sale, test your colleagues in an Apprentice-style challenge or host an event like a charity ball or golf day.  

• Matched Funding

  Offering matched funding can be a great incentive for staff to raise money themselves. We also can work with you to create a calendar of events that staff can get involved in to fundraise for us.

• Payroll Giving

  Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn, is a simple way to make regular donations straight from your salary. It is one of the most tax-effective ways of giving to charity as it comes out of your gross pay (before tax) so it will cost you at least 25% less. Ask your company if they have a payroll giving scheme and nominate PKD Charity as your chosen charity.

• Sponsor an Event

  Could your company support us by sponsoring a PKD Charity event? We host events throughout the year and sponsorship could be a great way to show your commitment to our cause as well as help your company raise brand awareness across our community.

• Gifts in Kind

  As well as supporting us with donations and fundraising, we always appreciate donations of products and free services as these ensure that more funds can be allocated directly towards supporting people affected by PKD and funding research. Have you completed a Gift Aid Declaration?

• Gift Aid

  Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows us to reclaim the basic rate tax you pay as a UK taxpayer.

  It means that we can claim 25p of tax for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration. 

  You are eligible to sign up to the Gift Aid scheme if:

  • You are a UK taxpayer (this includes paying income tax on your salary or pension and Capital Gains tax)
  • You currently pay more tax each year than the amount you donate to charity.
