PKD Support Groups

Connect with others affected by PKD

Whether you’re looking to share your experiences, find support, or simply connect with people who understand what living with PKD is like, our PKD Connect groups offer a friendly and welcoming space for everyone affected by PKD.

PKD Connect groups are relaxed and informal. They’re a chance to meet others affected by PKD, chat about your experiences, share information and make new connections.

There’s no pressure to talk or share – you can simply come along, have a cuppa and listen to others if that’s what feels right for you.

“It was great to meet others in a similar situation.
I felt so much better.”

- Maggie

Regional PKD Connect Groups
Our regional groups are hosted by volunteers with personal experience of PKD. Meetings are usually held in person, often in a local café or community venue. Use the map below to find your nearest group.

Time to Chat about ARPKD
An online group for parents, carers and adults affected by autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease (ARPKD).

Online groups
We also offer online groups for people who would like to connect with others from across the UK:

    • Low Clearance Group – for people living with low kidney function, including those considering or preparing for dialysis or transplantation.
    • Young Adult Group – an online group exclusively for people aged 18–30.
    • Post-Transplant Group – a space to share experiences, practical tips and advice with others who have had a kidney transplant.

Our groups are growing thanks to our incredible volunteers, who help create welcoming spaces where people affected by PKD can connect and support one another.
