Giving in memory enables you to celebrate someone’s life whilst also making a huge difference to the lives of people affected by polycystic kidney disease, helping to raise vital awareness and funding life-changing research into finding treatments and a cure for PKD.
There are a few different ways that you can give a gift in memory and celebrate the life of your loved one.
You can donate through our website and you have the option to tell us who you are donating in memory of.
Alternatively, you can to set up a regular donation to PKD Charity in memory of your loved one.
We have partnered with MuchLoved and Memory Giving. Both platforms allow you to set up an online donation page to collect donations in memory of someone special. Once the page is created the online link can be shared with friends and family to donate and all the money raised will come straight to us.
These pages can be set up by your funeral director or you can set up the page yourself by visiting MuchLoved or Memory Giving.
Collecting donations at a funeral or memorial service can help make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking for donations instead of flowers.
We can send you donation envelopes to give to people attending the funeral or memorial service. The donation envelopes make it easy for friends and family to let us know if their donation is eligible for Gift Aid, increasing the value of each donation.
It could be a marathon, a 10K, a cycling challenge or a walk. Sign up to take part in a fundraising challenge and raise money in memory of your loved one.
