About the Edinburgh Marathon

Take part in the 2021 Edinburgh Marathon with Team PKD.

Voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runner’s World in 2008. Enjoy a fantastic all-encompassing route which takes in some of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks as well as offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline.

The safety of everyone involved is the Edinburgh Marathon team’s number one priority and they know runners may be nervous about returning to a race environment. Whilst we cannot predict where we will be as a nation by May, the Edinburgh Mararthon team know that there are well thought out, flexible and responsive measures that they can plan to ensure that the 2021 event is a Covid-secure event.

Team PKD Places

We have a number of Team PKD Charity places in the Edinburgh Marathon for 2021. In order to secure your place we are asking runners to raise £800.

By taking on the Great Birmingham Run you’ll raise much needed funds and awareness for PKD Charity and will receive:

  • Free PKD t-shirt or breathable running vest
  • Pre-event support from the PKD Team
  • Free PKD fundraising pack and resources to help boost your fundraising
  • PKD Shout-Out on social media
  • PKD Fundraising Certificate and PKD Charity Thank You

By taking on this challenge and being a #PKDSuperstar, you will be raising much needed awareness and funds to enable PKD Charity to continue to raise vital awareness about PKD and offer support to those in need.

If you have your own place and would like to use this to raise funds for the PKD Charity, then we would love to hear from you, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 07715 664687 to find out more!
