About the Great Birmingham Run

England's second city is the perfect stage for an event which attracts participants from across the UK and around the world. The course takes in some of the city's most iconic sights including the Bullring, the Cadbury's factory in Bournville and Edgbaston cricket ground. Live music from 'bands on the run' keep you motivated every step of the way and thousands of supporters turn out to cheer finishers across the line on Broad Street in the heart of the city centre.

Places

We have two places in the Great Birmingham Run. All we ask is that you aim to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship, and help is on hand with your fundraising.

If you have your own place and would like to use this to raise funds for the PKD Charity, then we would love to hear from you.

What fundraising support you will receive

We’re here to get involved with your fundraising as much or as little as you would like. We will support you with:

  • Welcome pack with fundraising tips to get you started

  • PKD Charity training t-shirt
  • Help with promoting your fundraising through our Facebook page and Twitter
